The Home Depot salutes HR Now! in December 2005 issue of Atlanta Tribune: The Magazine

ATLANTA, GA – HR NOW! A minority/woman-owned corporation was recognized by The Home Depot and protégé from the Governor’s Mentor Protégé Program in the December 2005 issue of the Atlanta Tribune for strong outsourcing resources. 

The company was also applauded during a celebratory reception hosted by The Home Depot on December 6, 2005 as the 2005 NMSDC Supplier of the Year, Class I award winner. They are evaluated on the basis of company history, growth in sales and employment, product quality, service delivery, competitiveness, community involvement and obstacles overcome as a result of heritage or background. The award is regarded as the most significant honor to a certified minority business. The event highlighted the journey of The Home Depot as the mentor of HR Now!, in participation in the 2004-2006 Georgia Governor’s Mentor Protégé Program.

“The long-term and strategic relationship cultivated with The Home Depot through the Governor’s Mentor-Protégé Program is a tremendous honor for the company. Our relationship has been key in preparing HR Now! to compete for nationally,” said Thomas. HR Now! was the only Georgia minority business awardee at the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) at the October 2005 Awards Banquet in Dallas, Texas.
